Cookie policy

We believe it is important to protect your privacy and explain transparently how we use your data.

The purpose of what is indicated in this cookie policy is to keep the user informed and to allow you to consult our website www.mvextrusion.it (hereinafter the Site) in peace. This cookie policy therefore has the specific purpose of illustrating the types and methods of use as well as providing indications on the actions to refuse or eliminate the cookies present on the Site, if desired. MV Extrusion S.p.A. reserves the right to make changes to this cookie policy. The user agrees to be bound by any such future revisions and therefore undertakes to periodically visit this page to be informed of any changes.

A. WHAT ARE COOKIES

The Site uses "cookie" technology. Cookies are small text files that are downloaded by the browser onto the navigation device used by the user when the user visits a website. The cookies are then subsequently retransmitted, during the browsing session or on the occasion of each subsequent visit by the user, to the site of origin or to another site that is able to recognize that specific cookie, thus allowing the site to recognize the navigation device of the individual user.

Therefore, cookies are used to perform authentications, monitor browsing sessions and store information regarding user activities for statistical or advertising purposes. Cookies cannot collect any information stored on your computer or in your files.

Cookies can be:

  • "session" which are stored on the user's computer for mere technical-functional needs, for the transmission of session identifiers necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the Site; they are canceled at the end of the "session" (hence the name) by closing the browser. This type of cookie avoids the use of other IT techniques potentially prejudicial to the privacy of users' browsing;
  • "persistent" which remain stored on the computer's hard drive until their typical expiration or cancellation by users/visitors. Through persistent cookies, visitors who access the site (or any other users who use the same computer) are automatically recognized at each visit. Persistent cookies fulfill many functions in the interest of users. However, persistent cookies can also be used for promotional purposes. Visitors can set their computer browser so that it accepts/rejects all cookies or displays a warning whenever a cookie is offered, in order to be able to evaluate whether to accept it or not. However, the user is enabled to change the default configuration (default) and disable cookies (i.e. block them definitively) by setting the highest level of protection.
  • B. HOW COOKIES WORK AND HOW TO DELETE

The most common and widespread web browsers allow the deletion of cookies by manual command or automatically when the browser is closed. The same browsers can be configured (administration panel) to block the creation of cookies; in this case the correct functioning of the Site or the Internet service offered is no longer guaranteed.

Based on the legislation in force in Italy for the use of cookies, three types of cookies have been identified:

  • technical cookies;
  • user profiling cookies;
  • third-party cookies.

Among the technical cookies, which do not require express consent for their use, the Guarantor for the protection of personal data includes:

  • "analytics cookies", when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site;
  • navigation or session cookies (for example for authentication);
  • functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example the language, or a wishlist) in order to improve the service rendered to the same.

C. LIST OF TECHNICAL/ANALYTICAL COOKIES PRESENT ON THE SITE
The Site may use GOOGLE ANALYTICS, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway – Mountain View – CA94043 USA, which uses cookies to collect and analyze aggregate information relating to user navigation. Neither MV Extrusion S.p.A. nor Google associate your IP address with other data they hold to directly identify you.

The information collected is processed by the Google Analytics systems in order to produce reports that are used to verify the correct functioning of the services and possibly the approval rate of the contents offered on the site.

If you would like more information on the policies applied by Google Inc. on data privacy, you can click on https://www.google.it/intl/it/policies/privacy/; to disable statistical cookies thus preventing Google Analytics from collecting data on your browsing, you can download the appropriate component for deactivating Google Analytics which you find here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

D. LIST OF COOKIES USED BY THIRD PARTIES ON THE SITE

With regard to third-party cookies, these are cookies from sites or web servers other than the Site, and used for the purposes of these third parties. On these subjects and the related cookies, MV Extrusion S.p.A. it is unable to exercise specific control. To obtain information on these cookies and their characteristics and methods of operation and to give the relative specific consent, it is necessary to use the links below or contact these third parties directly. In the event that some of these contents are used, Google Analytics stores additional data on the computer, also known as Flash cookies (or Local Share Objects) through which the owner is able to know the total number of times in which open a certain audio/video file, the number of people who use it until the end and how many people, on the other hand, close it before the end.
