Mechanisms for shutters

Mechanisms

B.B.C. shutter mechanisms are the result of intensive work in Research & Development, with special attention to the suggestions and needs of our customers, for whom we take care of customization and production of tailor-made systems, with the possibility of making changes in a short time.

All components are produced in-house 24 hours a day: from plastic molding, to the production of small metal parts, turning of screws and metal accessories, and stamping machining with customized semi-automatic machines.

Our production site can rely on a semiautomatic co-molding plant with a “stuffing press" in addition to aluminum extrusion and painting plants for both RAL and wood finishes.

Products

We produce the "tuck in" system, which provides excellent shading and, as a result, better air and water insulation. With the same models we make the version for the security shutter: with the addition of steel pins we guarantee the anti-unthreading of the slats.

In the basic model, slat opening is controlled by a wall-mounted hand control. The basic kit can be enriched with remote controls, control units and photocells, which are easily available on the market.

A variety from RAL shades to colors made for wood allows for rich and varied application. The company works under ISO 9001 certified quality and environmentally friendly (ISO 14000). A laboratory guarantees the maximum performance requirements of European standards, offering a valuable service for CE marking. We guarantee our accessories for 12 years.

All parts produced by injection molding are made of high-tech polyamide, characterized by high physical-mechanical properties, wear resistance, and low coefficient of friction. Modified with elastomers and stabilizers improve hardness

Test

The shutter mechanisms are subjected to stringent function and leakage tests through the construction of a sample shutter representative of the entire range. The first test is that of driving force, and then wind resistance tests are carried out with the application of the rated load.

The actuation force test is repeated to check whether the shutter has reduced its functionality. We proceed to the safety load test, replicating the previous steps with an increase in weight equal to one and a half times the previous weight.

At the conclusion yet another test of the actuating force to verify the functionality of moving the shutters themselves. Resistance class 6 is obtained if the specimen passed the test.
